I started my career with Pawnee Leasing Corporation in September 2000 after making the decision to move to Fort Collins, CO, to be w/my husband, Loyal. During my time at Pawnee Leasing, I’ve held several roles in collection with the most recent being the supervisor of the 30-day collection team. That position has taught me the most about management & Pawnee. I’ve been extremely lucky and have had a great group of people to work with.
I’m originally from Rapid City, SD, where I started in collections 11 years ago with Conseco Finance (currently Green Tree Financial). I applied for a customer service job and ended up in the collections department. Conseco opened the doors for me in collections. I learned from the bottom up and met people who are still a part of my life. I never thought I would enjoy something like collections and neither did a lot of my friends. When people first meet me they think I’m too nice for a job like collections. It isn’t until you get to know me that you see I have two sides of me: I’m compassionate but strong. It’s those two qualities that have given me the perfect balance to be a good collector and manager.
My husband and I were married in July 2003 and have a healthy nine–month-old son, Harley Daniel, with whom we spend all our free time. I always heard people say kids change your life and boy, were they right! Harley has been the highlight of our lives and we wouldn’t change a moment of it. We love cars, the outdoors, boating, camping, and anything that involves family and friends. Even though our family resides in South Dakota, Colorado definitely feels like home.
I’m excited about the newest opportunity that Pawnee Leasing has given me. I’ve had great mentors at Pawnee Leasing. The employees and management have been a wonderful group to work with and have taught me a lot. I look forward to taking over the torch and continuing to serve the needs of our customers.
